As a re-imagination of the experience for gift-givers and recipients, this multi-channel initiative completely redefined Target’s gift registry commerce platform and opened significant revenue opportunities along the entire guest purchase journey.

The Target Gift Registries reinvention unlocked an entirely new perspective for the gift registry experience. Initially an omnichannel product strategy, the Gift Registries initiative uncovered new ideas that drove guest engagement and a 29% increase in revenue over two years. Formed as a nascent agile software development approach at the time, the initiative also activated and validated new features and functions as part of a continuous test-and-learn product cycle.
